Dermestid Beetle Skull Cleaning
The use of Dermestid beetles for skull cleaning has become one of the hottest tools in the taxidermy world. Some taxidermist boil skulls until all of the meat and tissue is off the bone. Two undesirable things happen when you boil skulls. One is you can easily damage fragile cartilage. The other is melted fats and oils can easily be absorbed into the bone which will cause the bone to yellow in time. Using Dermestid beetles eliminates this from happening.
Customer Agreement
- Customer will be notified upon completion of work.
- Balance due must be paid within 30 days of completion of work.
- After 30 days, a storage fee of $1.00/day will be charged for unclaimed goods.
- Customer agrees that Brad Kussman Taxidermy shall not be liable for any loss or damage to raw or finished trophies while in the custody of Brad Kussman Taxidermy, its agents, or independent receiving representatives due to any cause whatsoever.
